Sunday fun
For me, Sunday fun means exploring geeky stuffs.

I'm currently configuring a PC to be sent down to Mexico for the chiddrins. Speaking of which, Ground Control will be doing a fundraiser for The Children Of Chiapas Foundation on Monday, July 14th. Quite literally VERY CENT helps. Just by showing up, you're pretty much providing lunch for an underprivileged child for a week. All you have to do is come out and have fun. C'mon!

The Children of Chiapas Foundation is a grassroots and volunteer driven organization that exists through community support, financial contributions and volunteer efforts.

The Children of Chiapas Foundation seeks to provide funding to other local and international organizations that provide children with basic needs such as; shelter, food, clothing, education, health care and healthy recreational activities. Please join us in our mission to improve children’s living conditions and education around the United States and Latinoamerica. You tax deductible will help support our current projects.

Such projects include:
-Azteca Award Scholarship Program

-Friends Without Borders Project (This program provides cultural and recreational activities for children in Mexico)

-Padrinos Without Borders Project (This program sponsors children in Mexico who cannot afford to continue their education past elementary school)

Anyhow, enough about the damned poor kids. This post is about ME. :-P

So, yeah, today, I'm mucking about with Windows, Ubuntu, and pure:dyne. I've got two used Gateway machines, 1.5GHz, 256MB RAM, 40GB HD boxes with NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 400 graphics adapters. One is getting prepped for shipping to Mexico, so it gets Windows XP Pro and MSOffice installed. The other will put the lotion on its skin, or else it gets the hose again.

As much as I hate to do it, I think for now a dual-boot is in order for it. Windows XP Pro / Ubuntu, and I'll run pure::dyne off of a LiveCD, how God made it.

Severance later. Anyone else going?

featuring the vocal stylings of one Malcom Schreeck....

"Crime Of The Century" is the newest track to feature the Schreeck on vocals,
and there's another there called "The Alchemist's Vision" to boot.
