BBQ was great. Super props to Miss L. All I wanted was someone to flip meat on the grill so I didn't have to do it all night. Instead, she brought a ton of AMAZING and wonderful foodstuffs that she'd spent the previous night and all day Saturday prepping. I had know idea she was going to go to such lengths, and I'm very grateful for her efforts.

My laptop took a dive about 5 minutes into the shindig, though. Saynt Mykl and I discussed it a bit, and I was able to confirm this morning that the problem is in the drive bus connector on the mobo. My laptop is no longer under warranty, so sending it in to be fixed is completely out of the question. Today will be spent trying to figure out a creative solution to the GC master computer problem. The desktop computers I have that can output dual VGA and Composite video as two desktops aren't strong enough to handle real-time video decoding and playback. The laptops that CAN put out dual video aren't robust enough in the graphics card department to handle it either.

I'm sure I'll figure something out. Otherwise, all this hording and Frankensteining of computer parts has been for naught, right? :-P
