If you're coming out to Black Rock City this year, look me up. In the last 72 hours, some opportunities have developed that I'm going to try to take advantage of.

Heather and I will be camping in Lahontan Korps, located in Gigsville, 4:00 and DNA. Get to Gigsville and ask for the Whatever Man. We'll be directly across from that, in a HUGE military camouflage canopy structure.

Monday Night:
We hope to be in the City and set up by Monday night. If that's the case, I may try to get a DJ set in over at the Lava Lounge.

The Lava Lounge is a very cool, 3-story, black vented panel tent that resembles a volcano with a propane flame on the top (controlled by the DJ :-) ). Inside they have a lighted dance floor, and will be at 2:00 and J (next to Temple Camp).

Tuesday Night: I believe the L.A. Burning Man FaceBook group is attempting a meet-n-greet at the base of the Man at 7 or 8pm. Afterwards, one of the ringleaders is inviting everyone to come do some karaoke at 9pm back in Gigsville. I'll have the Ground Control catalog, and someone else is bringing their pro KJ gear. That should amount to a pretty awesome collection of karaoke songs. We'll have a good loud sound system for crooning out the hits.

Wednesday Night: Gigsville is having a Soft-Rock Formal Dinner. Bring your own wine, romantic dinner, candles, table and chair. The greatest Love Songs and Soft-Rock Evaar will be provided by Dr. Easy and MP3J Sark (yours truly). Not sure what time dinner is going down, so swing by and find out.

Thursday Night: I've been given an opportunity to spin a DJ set at The Lava Lounge. I've asked for a slot between 8:30-10:30pm. Location info earlier in this post, in italics.

And don't forget, the 2nd Annual Battle Of The Soft-Rock DJs will take place Monday through Friday, just before sunset, at Burning Phone Camp. That's located inside the 4:30 Plaza, at the 5:00 position in the Plaza. Dr. Easy and I engage in the kind of battle where there are no winners.

I'm going to attempt a daily Angry Lunch as well. Bring your own food, drink and folding chair, and I'll play loud obnoxious music while you dine. Or maybe some Tales From The Afternow. I dunno, we'll figure out something.
