Hey, everyone!

We got to Phoenix without issue. (Sorry, 5arah , we're only here for a short while. I'll get with ya when we come back out for at least two nights....)

Arrived yesterday. We totally spaced on the 1-hour timezone shift, so we almost came for naught. brokenheather  was supposed to check in and get her number and info by 5pm Saturday. We hit traffic, and after having lost an hour from our planned schedule, we weren't going to make it. I called in to the race HQ, and they said they had a few of us in that jam. They arranged a contingency pick-up site for this morning.

We had a wonderful gluten-free three-course dinner, with about 10 other people on the same team. It was a little ackward being around average joes, but we acclimated quickly. :-P

My sinuses have gone completely awry on me. I woke up at 5:30am and couldn't get back to sleep. So, we got up and ready, and I got the girlie to the start site by 7:30am. She's probably starting the race as I type this.

I just had a buffet breakfast, and I'mma head off to the finish line in a bit. I bought a brand new Motorola A630 phone from a friend on Friday night, and I'm still learning how to use it. I'll get email posting configured, and hopefully get a shot of our girl crossing the finish line.

Morning people, keep her in your thoughts. It's incredibly cold out, by L.A. standards. I don't want her sweating and getting hypothermia.... I'm sure she'll be fine, but you know how I can get.
